Subscription Buy Box Guide

Using the Subscription Buy Box

If your brand offers subscriptions on Shopify, Pagedeck provides a specialized Subscription Buy Box to showcase your subscription products on landing pages.

Adding a Subscription Buy Box

  1. Open your sections list in Pagedeck

  2. Find and select the "Subscription Buy Box"

  3. Drag it to your desired position on the page

Connecting Your Product

  1. Go to your Shopify site and copy the product page URL

  2. Open the Subscription Buy Box settings

  3. Paste the URL into the "Product Link Field"

  4. Click "Sync" to import all product data from Shopify

Customizing Subscription Settings

After syncing your product, you'll see a subscription widget with several customization options:

Default Selection

  • Choose whether the subscription option is selected by default when the page loads

  • When enabled, customers will see the subscription option first and pre-selected

Content Customization

  • Edit the messaging within the subscription widget

  • Customize details about what customers get with their subscription plan

  • Modify the text for the one-time purchase option

Widget Style Options

Choose from three different widget styles:

  1. Standard Widget (Default)

    • The typical subscription interface seen on most Shopify stores

  2. Toggle Option

    • Allows customers to switch between subscription and one-time purchase

    • Clean interface with a simple on/off toggle

  3. Minimal

    • Basic styling that's easy to customize with your own CSS

    • Perfect for brands wanting to create a unique subscription interface

Managing Selling Plans

The Subscription Buy Box works with any Shopify subscription app because they all use the same API.

Editing Variant-Specific Selling Plans

  1. Open "Product Data" where you synced your product

  2. Select the variant you want to modify

  3. Scroll down to "Selling Plan Allocations"

  4. Delete any selling plans you don't want to offer

    • Example: Keep only the "Delivery every 30 days" option by deleting other allocations

Editing Product-Level Selling Plans

  1. Scroll down to "Selling Plan Groups" in the Product Data section

  2. Open this section to view all selling plans available for the product

  3. Edit the IDs to change what's available

  4. Delete any selling plans you don't want to offer

This Subscription Buy Box gives you complete control over how subscription options appear on your landing page, making it easier for customers to subscribe to your products.
